Global Battle Of the Bands sau GBOB este o competitie muzicala ce se desfasoara la nivel national, respectiv international intre trupe de orice gen muzical, indiferent de varsta.

THE GLOBAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS este un proces in trei faze. In fiecare tara se organizeaza finale locale si/sau regionale care conduc la Finala Nationala.

Castigatorii Finalelor Nationale se vor califica mai departe la Finala Mondiala.

Daca pentru finala nationala sunt prea multe formatii pentru o singura seara, se vor organiza finale nationale si o Super Finala nationala unde vor participa maxim 12 formatii calificate din finalele nationale preliminare. Aceeasi procedura se aplica si la finala mondiala.

Traducere : Un premiu de 100.000 de dolari câştigătorilor, care vor avea de învins aproximativ 15.000 de concurenţi din peste 40 de ţări, hmmmm.

In fine, etapa urmatoare este cea nationala, a cincea editie a festivalului in tara noastra. Ea va avea loc in perioada 24 - 26 Noiembrie 2011 la Arenele Romane din Bucureşti.

Castigatorii nationalelor se vor reuni la finala mondiala si vor lupta pentru marele premiu si pentru trofeul “The Best New Band In The World 2011“.
